Beijing: China withdrew from the 2023 Asian Cup. The retreat was preceded by Kovid circumstances. The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has been informed. The venue was allotted to China in 2019.
The competition was to be held in ten cities from July 16, 2023. The logo of the tournament, in which 24 teams are participating, has already been released. FIFA has not yet commented on the new venue.
Eligibility of India
India have not yet qualified for the tournament. India will play Cambodia, Afghanistan and Hong Kong in the qualifiers. The match against Cambodia is on June 8. They will play against Afghanistan on the 11th.
There is also a match against Hong Kong on the 14th. Before that, there are rumors that a friendly match will be played against Zambia.
