Al-Marsad newspaper: In cooperation with the security authorities, “Health” seized an expatriate doctor who performs abortions, through a clinic she runs in one of the private medical complexes in the center of Riyadh.
Where the Ministry of Health received a report about a female expatriate doctor performing abortions, in a famous medical complex, in an environment that does not meet the minimum medical and health requirements, in a dangerous violation that threatens the health and safety of patients, and violates the Kingdom’s regulations.
The Riyadh Health Compliance teams also negotiated the doctor with the Secret Shopper Authority to carry out an abortion, and an amount of 8,000 riyals was agreed upon.
Where the compliance teams in the “Riyadh Health”, in cooperation with the security authorities, began to seize the aforementioned violation, and refer the violating doctor and her assistant to the Public Prosecution, for violating Article 28 of the Health Professions Law, the penalty of which is imprisonment for a period not exceeding 6 months and a fine of not more than 100,000 or one of them .
The compliance teams also referred the complex to the committee to look into the violations of private health institutions, where expired medical materials and medical supplies to aid abortion were also seized.
