The Argentine Agustín Canapino fulfilled -and more than- his great personal dream of participating in the Indianapolis 500, one of the tests that make up the so-called ‘Triple crown’ of the activitytogether to the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Monaco and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The 33-year-old pilot from Buenos Aires managed to climb to position number 3 in the 107th edition of this emblematic competition. But with just seven laps to go he crashed and had to retire.
The accident originally involved the pilots Pato O’Ward and Simon Pagenaud, however the native of Arrecifes could not avoid them.
