The government will not be able to continually help Belgians pay their electricity bills. This is essentially what Eva De Bleeker (Open VLD) said on Monday morning. On Radio 1, the Secretary of State for the Budget recalled that the various aid measures taken against the rise in energy prices were temporary. Contacted, his firm confirms that he will be “difficult to extend these measures given that the costs for the State are increasing”.
