Air Corsica receives its first ATR 72-600

This Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Ajaccio Napoléon Bonaparte airport, Air Corsica celebrated the arrival of the first ATR 72-600 (latest generation aircraft with a new engine) of the company.

By early spring 2023, the company will have received four other devices of the same typeat the rate of one aircraft each month on average. These new aircraft will replace the five ATR 72-500 (first generation aircraft with conventional engine) currently in service.

The new devices will mainly be positioned on public service lines from Corsica to Nice and Marseille.

At the end of 2023 beginning of 2024, the company will also receive two Airbus A320neo which will be added to those received in 2019.

The arrival of these new devices is part of the CSR strategy Ambition 2025 of the company which plans a 70% renewed fleet by 2025.
