Alicante-Elche airport has been evacuated and air traffic has been closed due to the fire of one of the passenger terminal decks, without any evidence of personal injury.
Sources at the airport have informed Efe that the eviction has been carried out as a precaution shortly before 3 pm and that both passengers and workers have been evacuated.

Firefighters of the enclosure act to quell the flames, as well as endowments of the parks of San Vicente del Raspeig and Elche, according to the Provincial Consortium of the Diputación de Alicante.
According to the Emergency Information and Coordination Center (CICU), there is no record of injuries from the fire. .
