AKDITAL Group Announces New Multidisciplinary Health Facility in Dakhla: 100 Beds, International Standards, and State-of-the-Art Medical Services

With a litter capacity of 100 beds, the new multidisciplinary health facility of the Akdital Group will be operational at the end of 2024.

The group AKDITAL announced the finalization of an investment agreement relating to the development of a new multidisciplinary health establishment in the city of Dakhla.

In a press release, the Group specifies that the start of the construction works of the AKDITAL clinic in the city of Dakhla was donated for an amount of 220 million dirhams, noting that this initiative follows the last speech of His Majesty King Mohammed VI on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of the glorious Green March calling on the private sector to strengthen its investments in the southern provinces.

With a litter capacity of 100 beds, this clinic, which will be operational at the end of 2024, will be equipped with a operating room meeting international standards, a center of resuscitation (multipurpose resuscitation service, cardiovascular resuscitation service, neonatal resuscitation service) and a oncology center including two bunkers of radiotherapy and a day hospital chemotherapy.

It is also a center of cardiology with a cardiac catheterization room, a radiology center offering imaging services by MRI, scanner, Mammography or even standard X-ray and a Medical analysis laboratory.

This clinic with a constructed area of ​​more than 10,000 m2, will be backed by a building which will be reserved for the accommodation of its non-resident staff in the city of Dakhla, specifies the same source, indicating that part of this building appendix will be reserved for foreign patients in convalescence.

This first investment by AKDITAL in southern provinces reflects the Group’s continued commitment to quality health care, accessible to everyone and everywhere in the national territory, underlines the press release, indicating that this modern and well-equipped facility will offer a full range of medical and surgical services in various specialties medical and paramedical. Residents of Dakhla and surrounding regions will thus have access to quality health care without having to travel long distances.

This opening comes within the framework of the accompaniment of the socio-economic dynamics that the région Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab its last years, notes the Group, adding that this initiative also aims to strengthen platforms for access to care for the population of the region and will also benefit the strengthening of the South-South partnership, to the advantage of friendly sub-Saharan countries. in accordance with the High Royal Instructions.

It should be noted that the AKDITAL Group offers a capacity of 2200 beds through 21 establishments in 8 cities of the Kingdom, employing more than 4100 employees.

Since December 14, 2022, the AKDITAL Group has been listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange under the ticker AKT, thus marking the first entry of the health sector into the financial market.
