South African coach Pitso Mosimane, coach of Al-Ahly club, settled on the features of the formation in which he will face Moroccan Wydad Casablanca.
It is scheduled to meet Al-Ahly with Wydad, at exactly nine o’clock this evening, Monday (Cairo time) at Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca.
The match may witness Mosimane adopting his usual method in African matches by pushing three players in defense, or he will play with a defensive duo in the event that Al-Sulayya does not participate.
The expected formation of Al-Ahly against Wydad:
Goalkeeper: Mohamed El-Shennawy.
Defense line: Ali Maaloul – Ayman Ashraf – Yasser Ibrahim – Mohamed Hani.
Midfield: Aliou Diang – Hamdi Fathi.
Attacking midfield: Ahmed Abdel Qader – Taher Mohamed Taher – Hussein Al Shahat.
Forwards: Percy Tau.
