Concerning Alan Wake 2, the three collaborators declare that it will unfortunately be necessary to do without new information on the game before the start of the 2022 school year. The studio prefers to concentrate on development of the game before accelerating its communication around the title.

Nevertheless, Sam Lake confirmed that his teams were preparing a demo and a trailer for the game. He is also reassuring, stating that development is going smoothly. “Everything is going very well with the development of Alan Wake 2. A large part of the game is playable. We’re in full production, but we’ve been talking over the past few months and we’ve made the decision not to show anything major this summer. We want to make sure we’re creating the best possible experience, making Remedy’s first Survival Horror the best game possible. We don’t want to distract the team from this goal and develop a demo at this time. Unfortunately, you’ll have to wait a bit longer for a decent demo and trailer.” assures the leader of Remedy.

Note thata TV series adapted from Alan Wake is also in the works. AMC, the group behind The Walking Dead series, has acquired the rights to the license. No release date yet.
