Amazon has given the animation series a 2nd and 3rd season – Caschy’s blog

The animation series „Invincible“ ends its first season with eight episodes today. The series is based on the comic book series by the creator of “The Walking Dead”, Robert Kirkman. I’m going to watch the last episode of the first season tonight because I’ve been very excited about the series so far. So it is just right that Amazon has now confirmed an extension. “Invincible” will have both a second and a third season.

For me, “Invincible” reminded me of a rougher, bloodier version of “Young Justice,” another superhero animated series that I really appreciate. The plot of the Amazon series revolves around the teenager Mark, who happens to be the son of the most powerful superhero on earth: Omni-Man. The latter is voiced by Oscar winner JK Simmons.

All in all, the cast is top-class, as Zazie Beetz (“Joker”), Mark Hamill (“Star Wars”) and Sandra Oh (“Killing Eve”) are also involved. I can only warmly recommend you to take a look – the first episode is a great reinholer with a tough ending, so don’t miss the series!
