Nothing will unveil its first smartphone next month, and it looks like Amazon didn’t wait for the official launch to reveal the prices of all the configurations that will be available.

Only a day after we could discover the first photos of the black version of the transparent smartphone, we now know everything about the price of the smartphone thanks to the indiscretion of Amazon. The American giant has put the pages of the Nothing Phone (1) a bit too soon, revealing in passing the price of all models.

It has now been many weeks since multiple reports indicated that the Nothing Phone (1) was going to be a mid-range smartphone, and that it would be marketed between 400 and 500 euros. It therefore now seems that these reports were right.

What prices for the Nothing Phone (1)?

As unveiled by Amazon Germany, the smartphone will be available in three different configurations. The starting price will be set at 469.99 euros for the version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. In addition, it will cost 499 euros for the version with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, and 549 euros for 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Amazon also confirms that the smartphone will be available in two colors from launch: White and Black.

The smartphone is therefore positioned slightly below the Motorola Edge 30 to 499 euros that we had tested on video, which is also powered by a Snapdragon 778G+ processor. However, it remains less affordable than other excellent mid-range smartphones such as the Poco F4, launched a week ago from just 399 euros.

Nothing seems so bet everything on the atypical design of its transparent smartphone to convince the public. As a reminder, the smartphone is equipped with several LED strips on the back with 900 individual LEDs, which Nothing calls “Interface Glyph”. We also know that the English manufacturer promises 3 years of updates, slightly more than most of its competitors in this price segment. The smartphone should therefore receive the Android 15 update in 2024.
