Amber Heard was questioned last Monday during the defamation lawsuit brought by Johnny Depp on how her career and her income were affected by the splinters of her married life between 2015 and 2016.

The 36-year-old actress thus claimed to have had to “fight” with Warner Bros to keep the role of Mera which she played in “Aquaman”, the blockbuster directed by James Wan in 2018. She clarified that she did not had not experienced the same success for “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom”, the sequel in preparation which should be released next year: “I was given a script, then new versions in which action scenes to which I had to participate have been removed. (…). A number of things have been removed.

Although a cause and effect relationship cannot be clearly established, Amber Heard nevertheless suggests that she was punished by Hollywood and that she could still be punished afterwards.

On the income side, the actress explained to the judge that she had signed an “option for three films”, that she had earned around 1 million dollars for the first film and 2 million for the second, as well as a profit-sharing on the entries in halls. No apparent collateral damage on this level.
