Gold.. Gold prices witnessed a significant increase today, Friday, as gold prices rose in spot trading by 0.29% at $1843.29 an ounce, as of 9:17 am Cairo time, up by about 1.6% so far during the week.

US gold futures rose 0.2% to $1,844.80.
In terms of other metals, other than gold, silver prices rose in the spot market by 0.5% to $21.00 an ounce, platinum rose 0.4% to $963.90, and palladium rose 0.4% to $1454.99.
All three metals are poised for weekly gains, with platinum on track for its best week since last November
