It was his mother who announced the sad news on Facebook. “Sander, just 20, young, himself…and now deceased on his trip to Thailand,” she wrote in her tribute post. Sander Blondeel, 20 years old and resident of Watervliet (East Flanders), actually died while on vacation.
The young man was the victim of a motorcycle accident. As his mother explains, “from an early age, you never saw the danger”. “Goodbye son,” she concludes.
