Anderlecht supporters refuse to form a guard of honor in Bruges

Vincent Kompany had been asked about the possibility of making a guard of honor for the players of Bruges to congratulate them on their 18th title of Belgian champions. He said he would do what the Purple supporters expect of him: “I want to do what is right for our supporters. We want to focus on them, as they have been there for us throughout the campaign. I also want to avoid being hypocritical. I have 100% respect for the eventual winners of the championship. What the fans want, I will do.”

Today, the answer has finally come from those concerned, in the form of a banner hung in Neerpede where one can read an unequivocal: “No guard of honor in Bruges.”

The RSCA fans have therefore decided!
