Barely 24 hours after his unsuccessful Big Air competition, Andri Ragettli came up trumps at the end of the X Games in Aspen. The Graubünden freeskier wins gold in slopestyle.
Ragettli knows how to convince the most on the course with different obstacles. In the end, the 23-year-old from Flims, who only made his comeback last week after a cruciate ligament rupture, prevailed over Canadian Max Moffatt and American Alex Hall, who grew up in Switzerland.
For Ragettli it is already the fourth medal at the traditional annual event in the Rocky Mountains, the second gold after winning the Big Air competition last year. After his strong comeback performances, he will also be one of the medal candidates at the Olympic Games in Beijing. (cat/SDA)
