Dr. Sharma: Absolutely. Ensuring adequate intake of certain nutrients is crucial. Key areas of concern include vitamin B12, iron, calcium, vitamin D, and omega-3 fatty acids. A diet lacking these nutrients can lead to anemia, bone problems, and other health issues. Supplementation or carefully planned meal choices are essential.
