Apple Music introduces a karaoke mode to counter Spotify

Apple unveiled on Tuesday Apple Music Sing, a new karaoke feature that lets subscribers sing along to their favorite music with real-time lyrics and adjustable vocals. Sing, which is part of the streaming service

Apple Music

Separate lyrics for choirs and duets

What’s fun is that you can sing duets and choirs with lyrics that

“animate independently of the main voice so users can follow along more easily”

The Apple Music interface will allow you to adjust voice level. And since the lead vocals are usually mixed in the center, this will be easy to achieve with most modern audio software.

“We already know that our users around the world like to follow their favorite songs, so we wanted to evolve this offer to allow even more engagement around music through singing. It’s really great fun, our customers will love it. »
