Apple will take care of the repair of the iPhone 12 with sound problems

Apple will take care of the repair of some of its iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro mobile phones that were experiencing severe problems that prevented any sound from being heard during calls.

The problem is due to a technical failure in “a very small percentage” of the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro terminals that were manufactured between October 2020 and April 2021, as Apple has recognized through a statement.

The American company has explained that the terminals affected by the error do not emit sound through the receiver or speaker for calls, both when the user performs them and when they receive them.

Apple has explained that the company itself or its authorized repairers will repair the models for free and that they are still in Warranty period (two years after your purchase).

The American company has also pointed out that this program does not affect iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max models, belonging to the same device family.
