As the theft of Hyundai and Kia cars soared, US insurance companies refused to purchase insurance for some models

The crime of stealing Hyundai and Kia cars in the United States has been spreading like a trend since last year. These are models without an anti-theft device, and how much theft is happening to this. US insurers are refusing to insure certain models that have been targeted for theft, saying the damage is too great.

The driver’s seat key holder is completely broken. Even the steering wheel lock doesn’t work.

“Even if you have this, your car can be stolen. Be careful, too.”

They even had the word ‘Kia Boys’ engraved on the car door.

It refers to a gang that steals Hyundai and Kia cars and certifies them as a ‘challenge’ on social media.

They even teach criminal methods.

As the number of thefts increased at least six times compared to a year ago, with one person being victimized several times, U.S. insurance companies began to refuse insurance for some models of Hyundai and Kia vehicles.

“Loss greatly increases due to vehicle theft, so there is no anti-theft device. Certain models are not eligible for registration.”

Damaged borrowers are in a situation where they have to seek self-rescue.

Earlier, the city of Seattle filed a lawsuit against the manufacturer, claiming that the stolen cars were being used for other crimes.
