According to the police, Managing Director Minami was an company in Matsushige-cho, where he was president at the time, and from May to June last year, he submitted a copy of a false business consignment contract with an inflated amount to a financial institution. It is said that the number in the amount column of the contract for the work entrusted by the local government was rewritten to more than three times the actual amount, and the person in charge of the financial institution was trusted, and the loan was withdrawn.

The company received a decision to start bankruptcy proceedings from the Tokushima District Court at the end of January, about half a year later, and the police are investigating the actual state of management and the use of funds.
The Asa Kaigan Railway, which connects Kaiyo Town in Tokushima Prefecture and Toyo Town in Kochi Prefecture, is a third sector company funded by local governments along the railway line, and the president is Shigeki Miura, the mayor of Kaiyo Town.
