Ukrainian grain exports: six vessels receive their authorization

The Joint Coordination Center (JCC) reported that six additional vessels have received permission to export Ukrainian grain. Two of them have already passed the inspection and can go to the port of Chornomorsk for loading. The other four are awaiting inspection, which is scheduled for today.

The CCC, created and inaugurated at the end of July in accordance with the agreements signed on July 22 between Russia, Ukraine, Turkey and the United Nations, is responsible for monitoring Ukrainian grain exports via the Black Sea.

Installed within a military academy, it is directed by “five representatives of Russia, Ukraine and the UN, as well as Turkeyboth military and civilian., said Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar during an inauguration ceremony. Its mission is to verify that ships departing from and arriving in Istanbul are carrying nothing but grain.

The Ukrainian president said on Saturday that sixteen ships carrying grain for seven countries on three continents had already been able to leave Ukrainian ports since the beginning of August, after five months of blockade.

“Our goal now is consistency”, he had explained, a few days earlier. ” When a ship leaves port, there must also be other ships in operation – both those loading and those approaching the port. Continuity, regularity is a necessary principle for the consumers of our agricultural production”he added.
