Atari is resurrecting an arcade game so difficult it never came out

Killed in the bud, the game still exists to this day, but only on three arcade terminals. It is thus one of the rarest titles from Atari, and even in the history of arcade games, according to the company.

In the 1980s, players stood in front of the game’s arcade cabinet and manipulated a trackball that controlled a stationary turret called a sentry. This one targeted, somewhat Space Invaders from Taito, the enemy waves trying to enter an octagonal platform located in the center of the screen. It was also possible to zoom or pan the image to combat them.

If these game mechanics could be considered complex at the beginning of the video game industry, this is no longer the case today.
