A man injured four people with a stabbing weapon in an apartment building in Oberhausen, North Rhine-Westphalia, at least one of them was life-threatening. The authorities assume a family background, as a police spokesman said. Some of the victims of the attack on Thursday evening would receive intensive care in hospitals.
The alleged perpetrator was arrested in the evening and also injured was taken to a hospital. There are no indications of a terrorist background or other perpetrators, said the police spokesman.
