Avatar Frontiers of Pandora: a first leaked gameplay image | Xbox One

Unveiled almost 2 years ago by Ubisoft, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has since undergone some turbulence. First announced for a release in 2022, this adventure game signed Massive Entertainment was finally postponed to the fiscal period 2023-2024 by the French publisher without further details being given to us. That said, things could speed up in the days or even weeks to come.

A leaked gameplay image

Our most avid readers may have already noticed this, but the first warning signs appeared last week after dataminer @ScriptLeaksR6 discovered a promotional image for the game’s pre-orders. Often well informed when it’s about Ubisoft, our man gave a layer of it today by broadcasting a gameplay image.

The latter, rather evocative, seems to confirm that the game will indeed be an FPS, the player being in the process of shooting a giant mecha armed with a kind of machine gun.

The revelations do not stop there since he assures that he will soon broadcast gameplay. You can already count on our team to follow all this very closely.

Soon the end of the suspense?

Although Ubisoft has still not spoken at the time of this writing, the clues concerning an official presentation are becoming more and more present.

Go figure, maybe the studio will kill two birds with one stone by announcing the launch of its Ubisoft+ service on Xbox consoles when the time comes? Wait and See.

In the meantime, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is still expected between April 2023 and March 2024 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC and Amazon Luna.
