The social networking platform “Baaz” announced its cooperation with the International Football Association, with the aim of supporting the upcoming Arab Cup, which will be launched in Qatar.

The tournament, in its tenth edition, kicks off on November 30 and concludes on December 18.

In turn, the Executive Director of the Arab Platform, Mosab Sharairy, expressed his pride and happiness in cooperating with the International Federation and supporting the Arab Cup.

For his part, FIFA Marketing Director Jean-Francois Pathy commented on the cooperation between the two parties, stressing the important role of the application in supporting the tournament, and said: “Baz’s support will play an important role in presenting the tournament, as fans will be able to share their passion for the tournament with their friends through Baz platform,” he added, “This new and exciting competition will enable the platform to communicate directly with its users in new ways.”

16 Arab teams will participate in the tournament in the presence of the fans, after they were prevented from attending earlier in the year, due to the restrictions imposed to limit the spread of the Corona virus.

The tournament can be considered as preparation for hosting the World Cup in Qatar next year (2022), as the tournament matches will be held in the same stadiums designated for the World Cup.
