On the 4th, it was confirmed that Bae Hyun-jin, a member of the People’s Power Supreme Council, went to the supreme committee to boycott the party due to his complaints about the identity problem of party leader Lee Jun-seok.

Supreme Councilor Bae did not attend the meeting today in a bid to urge President Lee to resolve personal issues such as sexual harassment allegations. Instead of attending the meeting that day, Bae is known to have digested the constituency schedule.

The possibility is raised that Bae will continue the boycott until the personal issue of CEO Lee is resolved. Bae said that he said to his aides on the same day, “I will think more about whether to attend the next Supreme Council meeting.”

As Chairman Lee’s disciplinary review of the Party Central Ethics Committee is scheduled for the afternoon of the 7th, Bae is expected to not attend the meeting of the Supreme Council at least on the morning of the 7th.
