Bars 11 a.m., 1500 at public events; Kerala removes Kovid restrictions

Thiruvananthapuram: Announced further relaxations in Kovid restrictions in the state. It was decided to admit 100% of the people in the theaters. In addition, the maximum number of people attending public events has been increased to 1,500.

Bars, clubs, hotels, restaurants and other eateries are all set to get 100 per cent seats. It also allowed offline meetings of government, quasi-government and public sector institutions.

Kovid-19 has been confirmed for 2524 people in the state today. Outbreaks were reported in Ernakulam 393, Thiruvananthapuram 356, Kottayam 241, Kozhikode 220, Kollam 215, Thrissur 205, Idukki 160, Pathanamthitta 142, Alappuzha 137, Kannur 121, Malappuram 113, Wayanad 101, Palakkad 96 and Kasaragod 24.
