Basra.. Arresting an infiltrator in possession of a large amount of narcotic pills

On Sunday, the Border Forces announced the arrest of an infiltrator in possession of a large amount of narcotic pills in Basra Governorate.

And the border said in a statement, “A joint force from the Coastal Border Command and the Intelligence Division of the command managed to arrest an infiltrator in possession of a large amount of narcotic pills, the type of Tramadol, along with an amount of money.”

The statement added, “The operation came after setting up an elaborate ambush by the force carrying out the duty in the Shatt al-Arab, according to accurate intelligence,” noting that “the necessary legal measures were taken against him and he was handed over with the seized items to the competent authorities.”
