Shock moment during the morning training of the DFB-Elf: Offensive star Jamal Musiala (19) had to break off the unit after about an hour and a half.
In one game, Bayern colleague Thomas Müller (33) hit him on the right shin, Musiala had a deep abrasion. Assistant coach Danny Röhl immediately waved the DFB doctors over, Musiala was treated, his shin was heavily bandaged. He then had to break off the unit.
Around 12:20 p.m., Musiala arrived at the Kempinski team hotel with a thick bandage and gave BILD a slight all-clear: “Everything is ok.” At the press conference at noon, manager Oliver Bierhoff (54) gave further information: “It’s nothing more difficult. It’s a small, superficial wound that needed attention.”
Bayern keeper Manuel Neuer, who is injured (big toe), was not present at the first session on Tuesday morning. However, he should return to training tomorrow.
