Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Public Company Limited or BDMS informs the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) Annual performance report 2022, the company has a net profit of 12,606 million baht, a growth of +59% from the previous year, and an operating income of 92,968 million baht, an increase of +23% from the previous year, mainly due to an increase in Number of Thai patients and foreigners following relaxation of COVID-19 measures and also increase the bed occupancy rate

EBITDA was 22,933 million baht, an increase of +31% from the previous year, resulting in an increase in EBITDA margin to 24.7% from 23.2% in the previous year.

In the year 2022, there was a medical income of 88,535 million baht, an increase of 16,993 million baht or + 24% from the previous year, as a result of a +14% increase in income from Thai patients, which is not related to COVID-19. and expatriates +69% increase following countries relax travel restrictions

Meanwhile, outpatient revenue grew +28%, while inpatient revenue grew +18% from 2021, resulting in an overall increase in bed occupancy from 60% in 2021 to 73% in 2022.

As for revenue from sales of goods and food, it was 3,399 million baht, an increase of +17% from the previous year, mainly from the increase in domestic sales. and selling products in drug dealers

While other income was 1,034 million baht, a decrease of -17% from the previous year, because in 2011, compensation for damages at affiliated hospitals was received.

As for operating expenses and depreciation, it was 75,984 million baht, an increase of +18% from the previous year due to an increase in medical expenses, medicines and medical supplies. according to the growth of income from medical expenses

In addition, the Board of Directors Resolved to propose to the shareholders’ meeting to consider paying dividends in cash at the rate of 0.30 baht per share, determining the right on March 9, 2023 (posting an XD sign on March 8, 2023) and paying dividends on 24 Apr 2023
