A new attempt at daytime ruse on the side of Mouscron and could, unfortunately, be exported quickly throughout Wallonia.

Some ill-intentioned people will definitely stop at nothing to break into citizens’ homes, with the aim of harming them. Saturday, late morning, an individual showed up at the door of the house of a resident of rue Roland Vanoverschelde, in Mouscron.

It was there that he pretended, to this 86-year-old person, to be in possession of a package from… the mayor of Mouscron, Brigitte Aubert, and that he had to give it to her. He then asked to enter the house to do so.

The victim refused, and the suspect then got angry, before leaving in stride in a vehicle.
