Islanders forward Anthony Beauvillier is enjoying a real boom in the current Stanley Cup series.
The 23-year-old Quebecer scored twice against the Capitals on Thursday night. The second goal was particularly good, but the youngster paid the price for it.
Right after skillfully outwitting goaltender Braden Holtby, Beauvillier was hit fairly free by Capitals forward Tom Wilson, who never hesitated.
Beauvillier stayed on the ice for a few seconds to come to his senses. Fortunately for the Islanders, he stayed in the game.
