The Argentine Néstor Girolami (Honda Civic), guest pilot of the TCR World Tour that takes place on the European continent, finished fourth this Sunday in the first competition of the South American TCR that took place at the El Pinar racetrack, near Montevideo .
For the sixth date of the annual calendar of the continental division, the Uruguayan Santiago Urrutia (Lynk), who had registered the pole position, won from end to end in the Víctor Borrat Fabini circuit, with 3,120 meters of rope.
Girolami, 34, from Córdoba, maintained a neat race plan and was behind the winner Urrutia, the Swede Thed Bjork (Lynk) and the Belgian Frederic Vervisch (Audi RS3), after the 25 laps of the requirement. All of them are members of the TCR World Tour squad, which competes mainly on the European continent.
The first representative of the classified South American TCR was Ignacio Montenegro (Honda) from Chubut. The native driver from Rada Tilly, current leader of the continental competition, finished 10th.
