The latest provisional figures from Sciensano’s “dashboard”, as of Saturday morning, give an average of 94.4 daily hospital admissions for Covid-19 during the last week (last day excluded). This average represents a decrease of 26% compared to the previous 7 days.

The figures for hospitalizations are therefore definitely going in the right direction, as are those for deaths and new cases recorded. These exclude the last 4 days, but the latest known figures are 17.1 deaths (daily average over a 7-day period), down 14.3%, and 1,982 new cases per day (-8% per day). compared to the average of the previous 7 days).
