In an unusual way, a driver’s license applicant arrived on Monday afternoon in Bergheim, North Rhine-Westphalia, for his practical driving test.

A future motorist was ahead of his time: In the Rhein-Erft district (North Rhine-Westphalia), a 37-year-old turned up with his car during his own driving test. The driving instructor and the examiner were amazed when the examinee parked his car right in front of their eyes on Monday, the police said on Tuesday.

The candidate in Bergheim wanted to be on time

Since the man did not yet have a “rag”, the test was canceled – and the police called. The officers arriving took the matter on record.

After his instruction, the driver explained that he had only come by car so that he could still reach the test date on time. He now has to face a lawsuit about driving without a license. The police also started investigations against the owner of the vehicle.
