Best European player 2020: seven players playing in France named – Fil Info – European Cups

The EPCR, the company that organizes the European Rugby Cups, unveiled the shortlist of 15 players nominated for the European player of the year award on Monday. Seven players playing for French teams are included: Toulousans Jerome Kaino and Romain Ntamack, Racingmen Finn Russell, Teddy Thomas and Virimi Vakatawa, Clermontois George Moala and Bordelo-Bèglais Semi Radradra. The latter is the only nominee who participates in the Challenge Cup. Racing is the most represented club with the Irish province of Leinster, leader of the group stage of this edition and finalist last year, which also has three players (Furlong, Larmour, Ringrose). No Saracens player, reigning European champion, currently in turmoil (relegation for non-compliance with the salary cap), is cited.
