Aïcha, however, continues to prepare food for Mabrouk and to bring him his meals every day. Mabrouk, he continues his solitary and silent walks in the shopping center. For Lina, their separation is an opportunity to question their long journey into exile and their silence. French director Lina Soualem comes from a family of actors. His father is the Franco-Algerian actor Zinedine Soualem, revealed in the 90s by Cédric Klapisch and his mother the Franco-Palestinian actress and director Hiam Abbass. Their Algeria, Lina’s first achievement, has received numerous awards.
