The Magdalena Medio Bloc of the dissidents of the extinct Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), was awarded this Monday the attack against the helicopter where the president of Colombia, Iván Duque, was traveling, when he was approaching to land at the Cúcuta airport, and against the Army’s 30th Brigade in that same city, on June 25, AVN refers, citing the Sputnik news agency.
“Today we want to inform the country and we assume with responsibility the actions carried out against the Public Force such as (…) the action against the 30th Brigade of the Army in Cúcuta and the military headquarters of the United States, (…) action against the President of the Republic , Iván Duque Márquez ”, assured in a video the Block Magdalena Medio.
This group also warned that the attacks will continue and was awarded four more actions, among which are harassment of military bases in the department of Norte de Santander and infrastructure of mining companies, he highlighted in the video.
According to the President of Colombia, Iván Duque, the video would have been recorded in Venezuela, who also warned that the Military Forces will continue the fight against criminal groups despite having no evidence of the location of the recording.
“The terrorists who record Tartarinesque videos from Venezuela to mimic their cowardice already know about the blows we have inflicted on them and we will continue to attack them. They do not intimidate us or intimidate us, “said the president.
