The body did not have any identity document.
A corpse appeared this Monday on the main avenue of Los Cortijos, a sector adjacent to one of the Caracas Metro stations.
Officers from the Sucre Municipal Police appeared shortly following to guard the scene.
On Twitter, the event journalist Delmiro De Barrio assured that the Scientific, Penal and Criminal Investigations Corps (Cicpc) was also on the site and, together with PoliSucre, proceeded to remove the body.
Authorities said there was no document to identify the body. The cause of death is also unknown.
In the morning hours, a citizen without vital signs was reported on Av. Ppal de Los Cortijos, adjacent to the Caracas Metro station.
The citizen did not have any type of documentation.
CICPC carried out the survey.
