Xiamen Hithium Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. (“Hithium”) celebrated a successful launch of its latest offerings in battery product innovation at RE+ 2022 in Anaheim, USA this week.
One of Hithium’s two latest breakthrough batteries, the newly released state-of-the-art 300Ah prismatic cell designed for electrical energy storage is capable of achieving “zero” loss in the first three years of use[1], with a long cycle life of 12,000cls and an energy efficiency of 95%. With further improved cycle times and high-efficiency energy output, the energy storage system using 300Ah prismatic Hithium cells can reduce the LCOE by about 25.3%, improve the IRR by about 18.4% and most importantly the initial investment, compared to the energy storage using 280Ah cells by about 5%.
The innovative 46 mm cylindrical cell also presented features a revolutionary shape that allows a 10% reduction in battery costs and extremely high safety standards compared to a typical prismatic cell. The 46mm cylindrical cell features high consistency, exceptional durability and superior flexibility, offering a versatile approach to home energy storage. As far as safety is concerned, the large cylindrical cell offers higher explosion resistance due to its innovative design and can withstand higher pressure than conventional models. Both the 300Ah prismatic cell and the 46mm cylindrical cell will be available worldwide from Q1 2023.
In addition to the new additions, Hithium also presented its complete range of energy storage batteries at RE+, which attracted great interest from the specialist audience.
