The name of Boston Bruins forward Charlie Coyle was added to the NHL’s list related to COVID-19 protocols on Wednesday.
The list now has four names, a number that could change depending on the results of the Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings.
Coyle is only the second Bruins player to have his name added to the roster. The other is Karson Kuhlman, who spent the first two days of the season there in January.
He is also the 132e player to spend at least one day with his name on this list.
The addition of Coyle’s name comes about 24 hours after Sidney Crosby of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Ryan Johansen of the Nashville Predators.
