(Ecofin Agency) – Britain’s BP said on December 8 that it had signed a memorandum of understanding with the Egyptian government under which it will study the possibility of establishing a new green hydrogen production facility in the country.
As part of the MoU, BP will carry out several studies to assess the technical and commercial feasibility of developing a large-scale, multi-phase green hydrogen export center in Egypt. As part of the feasibility study, it is planned to consider high potential sites throughout the country, targeting the best resources.
