Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have understood each other better since the custody contract

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have “understood each other better” since they agreed on the custody plan for their children.

The couple separated in 2016 and were legally divorced last year, but are said to have got along well after finally making arrangements for their six children – Maddox, 18, Pax, 16, Zahara, 15, Shiloh, and the 11-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

A source told Entertainment Tonight: “Brad’s children are the most important thing for him. He tells his friends that he learns so much about life from his own children.

“He and Angie have understood each other so much better since the custody rules were drawn up. They have come this far.”

The 56-year-old actress is also “proud” of daughter Shiloh and is looking forward to celebrating her 14th birthday on Wednesday (May 27th, 20).

The insider added: “Shiloh is close to her two parents. All children have been looking forward to Shiloh’s birthday and are planning to celebrate with a birthday cake.

“Brad is so proud of Shiloh and who she has become. He loves that she always stays true to herself and is good to her brothers and sisters.”

The star’s “Once upon a time in Hollywood” marriage to Angelina, 44, was officially declared over in April 2019, and the relationship has been reported to be “the best since its separation”.

A source said at the time: “Brad and Angelina have come a long way.

“To the surprise of many of her closest friends, her communication has improved enormously and both are devoted to parenting together.

“Your children have a custody plan and that has made a big difference to the whole family. The schedule has relieved the planning pressures that Brad and Angelina have faced in the past. Now the children are spending time with their two parents and are happy and successful. ”
