Brigadier General Carlos Triana will be the new commander of the Mebog – Bogotá

The director of the National Police, General Henry Sanabria, reported that the new commander of the Bogotá Metropolitan Police will be the Brigadier General Carlos Triana who served as director of the Francisco de Paula Santander General Police Cadet School.

Brigadier General Carlos Triana has a career of more than 30 years in the National Police where he has held positions as deputy commander of the Tolima Police Department, deputy director of the Police Cadet School, commander of the Tunja Metropolitan Police and commander of the Boyacá Police Department, considered in recent years as the safest region in the country.

During the last years, the brigadier general was in charge of the director of the Francisco de Paula Santander General Police Cadet School.

In addition to the positions already mentioned, the new commander of the Bogotá Police was head of Intelligence in the Criminal Investigation Sectional, commander of Police Stations and Districts of the Department of Cundinamarca, Liaison officer before the Government of Cundinamarca, was the first head of the Departmental Delegation of Firefighters, as well as coordinator of Traffic Agreements and Departmental Income.

Then, he held positions as head of the Operational Groups of the Criminal Investigation Section in the Bogotá Metropolitan Police, Strategic Group of the Operations Area of ​​the Police Intelligence Directorate, head of the Intelligence Sections both in the Antioquia Police Department and in the Bogota Metropolitan Police.
