It took Brooklyn Beckham, 23, a while to find his calling, Brooklyn Beckham’s wife, Nicola Peltz, told in a recent interview with the «Tastes»-Magazine.
The 23-year-old first tried his hand at football, just like his famous father David. And failed. London club Arsenal dropped Klein-Beckham before he was 16. Then he went on the fashion photographer map and landed some lucrative fashion deals as a male model. But Brooklyn always “felt a lot of pressure to please people with his career, and he didn’t love it,” says Nicola Peltz in an interview.
And the solution? A dedicated cooking channel
Then Brooklyn came to the wooden spoon. During the pandemic, he launched his cooking show “Cookin’ with Brooklyn” on social media. Not a bed of roses either, as the media immediately panned for the sizzle format. Critics accused him of the recipes being modest and the production costs being too high.
Despite criticism, Nicola Peltz has encouraged her sweetheart to keep going. She sees potential in Brooklyn’s cooking talent: “You can tell when Brooklyn is in the kitchen, he’s in heaven.”
