About thirty business leaders are calling for “a collective mobilization for French youth”, with the objective of proposing 100,000 job offers by the end of January on the site “1jeune1solution.gouv.fr”, in a forum published in Le Journal du Dimanche.
“At the time of the revival, we are calling for a collective mobilization for French youth, by relying on the +1 young, 1 solution + plan launched last July by the government,” write the authors of this forum.
More than 50,000 job offers are already available on the site, with 1,000 companies already involved, according to the text. “Let’s increase this number. Our goal: to be able to offer more than 100,000 job offers by the end of January.”
The authors of the tribune note that “more than a million young people have (…) been recruited on long contracts since August”, that “the recruitments in apprenticeship contracts have reached an unparalleled and unexpected peak in 2020 “and that” the dreaded rise in youth unemployment has been contained “.
The text is signed by 35 leaders from various economic sectors: in particular banking and insurance (BNP Paribas, Crédit Agricole, Société Générale, Savings banks, AXA, La Mondiale), distribution (Carrefour, Système U, Boulanger), energy (Total , EDF, Engie), transport (SNCF), industry (Schneider Electric), construction (Vinci), food (Nestlé), services (La Poste, Korian, Adecco, Accenture, PwC), technologies (Microsoft, Gameloft).
