ES Sétif, one of the two Algerian representatives entered in the Football Confederation Cup, will host the South Africans of Orlando Pirates on March 10 at the Accra stadium (Ghana), announced the Ligue 1 boarding club. Monday in a statement posted on his Facebook page.
The match, which was to be played at the 8-May-1945 stadium in Sétif, was relocated due to the risk of contamination with the South African variant of the coronavirus. South Africa is indeed going through a second wave largely caused by a local variant, reputed to be more contagious.
The Entente, finalist of the event in 2009, will then travel twice in a row, first in Libya to respond to Ahly Benghazi, on the occasion of the second day of group A (March 17), before to go to Aba (Nigeria) to challenge Enyimba, at the end of the first leg of the hens (April 4).
The other Algerian representative in this event, JS Kabylie, was added to group B, along with NAPSA Stars (Zambia), RS Berkane (Morocco / defending champion) and Coton Sport (Cameroon).
