Can we celebrate Christmas with the family? Here’s what to expect from the Concertation Committee this Friday

Prime Minister Alexander De Croo (in consultation with the federated governments) will he give us midnight permission for the end of year celebrations? And will we be able to invite more than one person into our household? Epidemiologists are slowing down hard but, with the epidemic figures continuing to drop (although the tension remains in hospitals) and with neighboring countries giving up (a little) of ballast on the occasion of the holidays, we does not see the Concertation Committee giving any gift, however small, to the Belgian population!

This gift would be a relaxation of the social bubble for the Christmas period and a reduced curfew for the nights of December 24 and 31. But Alexander De Croo does not want to give us great hopes: “It will be a Christmas on a small scale, it will be a careful Christmas,” he told the Chamber on Thursday.
