Capgemini is heading… towards generative artificial intelligence. The French IT services specialist will invest $2 billion in this technology over the next three years, the group announced on Friday, presenting mixed results for the second quarter which caused it to fall on the stock market.

This investment will enable it to train its employees and, above all, to recruit highly sought-following profiles, while the war for talent is intensifying in the AI sector since the ChatGPT phenomenon. The workforce of Capgemini’s Data and AI teams should thus double to reach 60,000 people worldwide by 2025-2026.
